one note

I heard a sacred chime‍

‍Beginning with one lone note.

‍‍Hanging low in the air

‍Almost wistful and melancholy‍

‍Until it expanded, ascending joyously

‍‍Into the blazing sky‍

‍Where it was joined with‍

‍A thousand notes,‍

‍A symphony of sound‍

‍Which permeated the planet,

‍‍Immeasurably blessing‍

‍The Universe at large.‍
